Can I Kick It, Atlanta Mayor Andre Dickens and others give over 1000 pairs of shoes to underprivileged kids.
ATLANTA, GA (August 31, 2022) - BAMM Cares Corporation joined the City of Atlanta, Can I Kick It, and other community organizations for a children's shoe giveaway during Atlanta Mayor Andre Dickens’ Midnight Basketball League game at Rosel Fann Recreation Center.
Kids in grades K – 12 received pairs of the new and donated shoes on a first-come, first-served basis; as well as participated in art activities, contests, and giveaways.
Over 500 pairs of shoes were distributed, making a difference in the lives of many young people as they head back to school.
"Giving back to your community hits different. Especially when you have the cities Mayor and next state Governor pull up to support," said Terry Francis, founder of Can I Kick It.
The following organizations partnered with the City of Atlanta and Can I Kick It to produce this community event: Heeling Soles, BAMM Cares Corporation, You Got A Friend In Me, Sneaker Asylum, Krown Me LLC, Good As Burgers, Shoe Baker ATL, Davinci Coloring, Breaking the Chains World Wide.
